Michael Davis
Chief Creative Officer
conceptor, data nerd, classic car enthusiast
NBC, PBS and HBO.
Thanks for visiting this bio page. Nothing fancy here. Just some info about my journey so far. My career began in network television creating content. Later I learned how to share it
I was fortunate to receive several Emmy Awards for directing, executive producing, editing and cinematography, which set the bar high as I transitioned to a new industry.
So what have I done with friends and colleagues?
With US$49.5 million first round funding, built an HBO digital start-up that broke ground for media networks.
I then transitioned to one of HBO's agencies, focusing on hospitality, auto, spirits, CPG and tech marketing.
Smartphones and real-time engagement.
Moving to the role of chief creative officer, I jumped into purpose driven brands and helped build movements that made a difference.
For P&G, we took on girl-on-girl bullying in schools; changed the Winter Olympic Games for skiers;
with Apple to create pizza delivery apps;
we built avatars for Marvel superheroes;
championed Diana Nyad, the first woman to swim open waters from Cuba to the U.S., and much more.

Data and the development of Ai.
From there, off to rebrand another beloved entertainment channel, then landed in the tech world to learn how it all works inside the matrix, literally.
Our team worked with leading brands to produce creative leveraging artificial intelligence, machine learning and automation. Results led to millions of creative iterations delivered for each brand every day. This was part of the adtech industry proving-ground for generative Ai.
I'm honored to serve on juries for Webbys, Emmys, Effies, Adweek Project Isaac, Digiday, Addy, AICP and WMA Mobile.
I enjoy speaking engagements including main-stage at Cannes Lions, and a marquee career moment (for me) as co-keynote speaker with Sir Richard Branson of the Virgin Group.
Start-up and Passion Projects.
As a founder, original investor, member of several start-ups, as well as career long member of industry icons, here are few that I'm proud to share. I learned the value of building trust while rapidly growing engagement.

FIA, Marketing Chair, Board of Directors
Amber Alert child abductions in the U.S., and global disaster alerts are generated into creative renders using artificial intelligence. Delivered in-app, game, browser or any platform by FIA and Amazon AWS.
Recognized live at the U.N. for saving lives. Awarded at Cannes, 4As, Webbys.

EFFEN Vodka, Founding Investor
EFFEN became the fasting growing brand in the premium vodka category and was featured on the HBO series The Sopranos. It began as a crazy idea between a client and two agency visionaries.
Sold to Corona/Barton, now owned by Beam Suntory.

The Emmy Awards, Jury
As my engagement with original content evolved, I became an Emmy jury member for the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Currently a NATAS judge as of 2025. Winning content distributed by tech platforms or produced across channels. It's an honor I don't take lightly
